What is Radiant Lotus® Thai-Yoga Body
Therapy?
Radiant Lotus® Thai-Yoga Body Therapy, also known as Thai Massage,
Thai Yoga Massage or Nuad Boran, is based on an ancient form of Traditional
Thai Medicine that combines assisted stretching, Yoga positions of Ayurvedic
healing and acupressure energy alignment of the Traditional Chinese
Medicine. Thai Medicine has taught for the past 2500 years through
direct lineage from the Buddha's physician and friend, Dr. Jivaka
Kumarbhaccha, much of it through the Buddhist Temple of Wat Po in Bangkok,
the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai and orally through generations of
families.
No Thai-Yoga experience is required to take Radiant Lotus®
Thai-Yoga Body Therapy Workshop Level I. (This workshop is a pre-requisite
to Radiant Lotus® Thai-Yoga Body Therapy Workshop Level II.) You will learn an
hour-long choreographed form of this "dancing massage" that will address
your receiver in a holistic manner. This workshop is great for finding
fun and effective ways to help each other stretch.
Radiant Lotus® Thai-Yoga Body Therapy is beneficial for both the practitioner
and the receiver of this remarkable style of bodywork. The results
include increased flexibility and energy, relief from tension and pain, a
heightened sense of self esteem.
